How Our Program Works

An admission specialist will conduct the initial admission call, which is entirely confidential. The specialist will go through a series of questions to determine if our program is the best fit for you. The pre-admission assessment typically takes from 25- 40 minutes. Insurance information will be collected at this time. If our program is not the best fit for you, our staff will guide you to our community partners.

If Tranquility is the right program for you, an admission appointment will be scheduled. During the admission process, you will meet with a Licensed Nurse, Medical Provider, and Clinical team member, who will determine the appropriate level of care.

Detoxification services are provided to clients determined by the Medical team during admission who would benefit from the assistance that Medically Assisted Treatment offers to minimize the effects of withdrawal symptoms.

Clients are closely monitored during detox to ensure their safety, and physicians are available 24/7. Clients are not required to participate in programming while in Detox.

Once clients are deemed appropriate for residential care, they will be oriented to the milieu. Clients will attend weekly group and individual sessions with counselors and therapists. Each client will have weekly follow-ups with a medical provider and the ability to meet with other specialists as needed.

Entire families are affected when an individual is overcome by addiction. Tranquility Rehab understands the importance family support plays in recovery. Family group sessions and visitation are offered on Saturdays to provide a safe environment for clients and their families to learn the tools.

From the time of admission, our clinical team will work with you to identify the next steps of recovery that best fit your individual needs. You will work closely with the team and be integral to your discharge planning. Following discharge, you will have the opportunity to take part in our monthly Alumni programming.

Admissions Process

Arrival for Admission

Upon arrival, a staff member will guide you through the admission process and paperwork and collect your final balance payment. You will then complete a health history questionnaire with a client care staff member and meet with your detoxification physician to begin your personalized detoxification plan within a few hours.

Detox

At Tranquility Rehab, our expert addiction medicine partners will supervise your detox plan upon arrival. You’ll work with your assigned detox expert to develop a detoxification plan tailored to your needs to ensure the most comfortable detox process possible.

Our treatment team will continuously monitor your vital signs, and our physicians will be readily available to address any detox-related concerns or needs. We understand that the detox phase is different for everyone, and at Tranquility Rehab, we respect that. Therefore, we will only push you into full program participation once you feel ready.

Regardless of your addiction, our physician partners will ensure your detox plan is personalized, prioritizing your comfort and safety.

Therapy and Recovery Counseling

Upon completing the acute detoxification phase, you will engage in various counseling and therapeutic activities as part of your treatment. Our counseling services comprise individual therapy each week with a licensed psychotherapist, group therapy three to four times per day, family educational group, private family therapy, weekly therapeutic outings, support group participation (including 12-Step program, SMART Recovery, and Rational Recovery meetings), and holistic therapies like Yoga.

Our physician specialist partners offer medical services to clients with ongoing medical needs, such as those with dual diagnosis concerns and pain management clients.

Family Participation

At Tranquility Rehab, we highly encourage the participation of our client’s loved ones in our family therapy/family education group workshops and private family therapy sessions with our licensed psychotherapists every week. Our family therapy/family education group is held every Saturday, and personal family therapy sessions can be scheduled at any time based on family availability. We also offer these family activities virtually through secure video chat or conference calls for families unable to attend in person.

Substance abuse often involves one or more family members enabling their loved one’s addiction, making addiction a family-wide issue. To support their loved one’s recovery, close family members must gain the necessary tools through family education and private family therapy. These components help families avoid returning to old behavior patterns once their loved one returns home. Our treatment program emphasizes the importance of addressing interpersonal issues through private family therapy as we strive to provide the most comprehensive treatment for our clients and their families.

Dual Diagnosis Care

Substance addiction often stems from underlying issues like trauma and mental health disorders. It is essential to address these underlying issues to achieve lasting recovery from addiction. If you have been diagnosed with a co-occurring disease before your admission, we will arrange ongoing care that runs concurrently with your addiction treatment.

Pain Management and Chronic Conditions

We offer assistance in scheduling specialist appointments and arranging transportation for off-campus visits. Our staff will collaborate with your specialist, with your consent, to provide tailored and comprehensive care that meets your unique needs and physical condition.

When you reach out to our team, one of our Admissions Experts will conduct a comprehensive interview to determine whether Tranquility Rehab is the most suitable facility to address your needs. This initial conversation usually takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes. If you still need to submit your insurance information via our online Insurance Inquiry Form, we will request it from you during this call, if applicable. We value and respect your privacy, and all discussions are entirely confidential.

Once we have verified your insurance coverage, we will get back to you with details on your benefits and respond to any related questions you may have about insurance or payment. When you are ready to go ahead, we will schedule your Pre-Admission Assessment, which we usually do over the phone in 25-35 minutes. This detailed questionnaire prepares our team to provide you with the best care upon arrival.

After you complete the Pre-Admission Assessment, we will schedule your admission, including arranging transportation from the airport or your home if necessary. We’ll be able to answer any other questions and refer you to our comprehensive What to Bring to Treatment List.
